Road tires: use your door-jamb label

This owner's manual doesn't list the road-tire pressures; it points to the Tire and Loading Information label on the driver's door jamb. Use the cold pressures printed there for the front and rear tires. Federal safety standard FMVSS 110 requires that label on passenger vehicles.

Compact spare (from the manual)

60psi

Applies to: All versions. Use it only for the temporary spare, not the road tires.

Checking your tire pressure

  1. Check when the tires are cold. Before driving, or after the car has sat for a few hours.
  2. Use a tire gauge on each valve stem. Include the spare if your vehicle has one.
  3. Add or release air to match the spec. The tire and loading label on the driver's door jamb lists the pressure for your exact tire size.

Never inflate to the maximum pressure printed on the tire sidewall; that is a limit, not a target.

Confirm with your own manual, dipstick or door-jamb label.
