How to reset the tire pressure light (TPMS): steps by vehicle
The tire pressure light comes on when one or more tires is well below the pressure on your door-jamb label. Many manuals add that if the light flashes for about a minute and then stays on, the monitoring system itself has a fault. Start by checking all four tires cold and inflating them to the label pressure (see finding the right tire pressure). Some cars then turn the light off on their own after a short drive; others need a reset or calibration from the menu or a button.
