How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light (TPMS) on a Chevrolet Bolt EV
Steps from the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV owner's manual.
- Set the parking brake and press POWER O to start the vehicle.
- Make sure the Tire Pressure info page option is turned on in the DIC Options menu.
- Use the DIC controls on the right of the steering wheel to scroll to the Tire Pressure screen.
- Press and hold the thumbwheel in the center of the DIC controls until the horn sounds twice and TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE displays.
- Hold the relearn tool against the driver side front tire sidewall near the valve stem and press its button until the horn chirps.
- Repeat at the passenger side front, passenger side rear, then driver side rear tire, then turn the vehicle off and set all tires to the recommended pressure.
- A TPMS relearn tool is needed; buy it from a dealer or GM Tools and Equipment.
- You have two minutes for the first tire and five minutes for all four, or the process stops and must be restarted.
- Do this after rotating tires or replacing TPMS sensors.
